BOSS guide

To enter the temple where Ta'Irek the Etherlight Guardian can be found, the player has to have completed or be progressing the Ancient Secrets quest.

To pass through the portal to enter the boss room, you must defeat each type of demon that is found in the cross shaped room in the dungeon. Create and equip the Vessel of Etherlight Essences by combining Ancient Vessel, Demon's Horn, Dimensional Tailspike, Spectral Gem and Eye of a Demonic Beast, which are a 1/3 and 1/12 drop chance from the demons found inside the chamber.

When entering the chamber, you must disable all 4 pylons around the room while dodging the Guardians attacks. There are 3 attacks:

1. Magical attack that always hit.
2. Area of effect attack that does heavy damage and can be dodged by sidestepping the red circles on the floor.
3. Beam attack that has a visible warmup animation and sound effect. Dodge this attack by running sideways facing the boss. Do not run towards his direction.

Once all pylons are deactivated, a cutscene will play and a bridge will appear giving access to the boss. It will continue to do the same spells as before.

Use Mild Dampening Potion to increase spell resistance.

It is recommended to use gear with high magic resistance.
